PARTNERS ARE VITAL
21Wilberforce believes in developing robust partnerships and supporting coalitions. We collaborate across the faith, belief, ideological, and partisan spectrums. Why? Because international religious freedom is something that impacts every religion or belief community and every ideology, and to secure this vital human right will take all of us working together. We do not always agree with each partner on everything, but on this issue it is vital for the sake of those who suffer to come together. To work together. To make the world freer, together.
A small selection of our partners include the following:
INTERNATIONAL RELIGIOUS FREEDOM ROUNDTABLE
The IRFRT is a consortium of well over 100 organizations, belief communities, denominations, and activists from every faith and none collaborating to advance religious freedom. 21Wilberforce is proud to partner and to serve on several committees at this vital convening group.
China Aid is one of the leading human rights and religious freedom defender organizations in the world. There efforts have helped raise awareness and secure victories over the Chinese Communist Party's brutal repression of all faith communities who try to live out their beliefs with integrity.
The Lantos Foundation honors the legacy of Rep. Tom Lantos, the only survivor of the Nazi Holocaust to serve in Congress through support for rule of law, religious freedom, and corporate social responsibility. 21Wilberforce has joined with them on technology initiatives to increase religious minorities access to information.
INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE ON NIGERIA
ICON is a U.S. based start-up NGO with deep connections to Nigeria. There advocacy has been key to elevating the awareness of Nigeria's many challenges, including extreme religious violence. 21Wilberforce has provided capacity building and collaborated on advocacy for one of the most vital countries in the world for religious freedom.
Amnesty International is one of the largest human rights organizations in the world, with a particular emphasis on justice issues, including Prisoners of Conscience. 21Wilberforce partnered with the U.S. branch to bring a large Prisoners of Conscience rally to the U.S. Capitol Building. Attracting strong bi-partisan support from Congress and confronting this injustice.
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM CENTER AT THE NEWSEUM
The Religious Freedom Center is focused on increasing literacy about religious freedom, particularly in America's schools. They have developed curricula and training for graduate level courses and support efforts to integrate religious freedom into multiple sectors. 21Wilberforce has partnered with them to support a summer intern boot-camp and to provide logistics for actions coming from the Religious Liberty Committee, which they host.
